The WinREST© Store UX application, with client-server architecture, was developed considering
the present needs of a restaurant manager. It enables the control and analysis of the following operations: purchase and processing of raw material; linking of articles to suppliers; price definition; stock analysis; detection of leakage, losses and profitability of its products. It also
allows for the decentralisation of the collection and analysis of this information, based on its organisational model.
This application runs on Windows operating systems. The database engine may be, in addition to MS SQL 2005, Firebird v.2.4, developed in open source, and with a possible server configuration in Linux, with Windows clients. The architecture enables the development by GrupoPIE of customised reports without the need to update the software version installed.
